Parallax is the wonderful collaboration of Martin
Watkinson and Brendan Littlefield. As a group, they found
it hard to classify themselves at first. Since then, they've
reluctantly settled on Indie-rock/Folk.
They believe in quality of lyrics and artful instrumentation, be it composed or improvised. With principal instruments including cello, piano, and mandolin, their sound is comparable to Sufjan Stevens, Ben Folds, and Bumcello. Their shows now consist mostly of original pieces and selected covers, but they still do occasional live improvisations. About Parallax PFS says; We've heard these guys several times and they're truly refreshing and delightful. If you haven't heard them yet, you'll definitely want to come check them out. A must see and hear! |
